Rules on Swapping between Teams
Once a player has played in an 'A' Team fixture they can not take part in ANY 'C' Team fixtures. Exceptions are where Ladies or Youth play an 'A' Team game.
Once a player has taken part in a fixture (for example, for Oxf B vs BerksB), they are not allowed to take part in any other of the corresponding fixtures (any of the the other Oxford matches at home to Berks) that may happen at a later date. Exceptions are where Youth or Ladies play for a men's team as well as their own.
Rules for Match Rearrangements
A fixture can only be changed if all the following occur:
- The process is started at least 2 weeks prior to the match and there is a genuine unforeseen reason.
- Both managers agree. If a manger does not feel the reason for rearrangement is fair then they can approach the Regional Director for a decision (if over two weeks notice given). If it less than two weeks notice then only in exceptional circumstances should a rearrangement be allowed and the party requesting it should first contact the Regional Director before contacting the opposing manager.
- A new date is set for the fixture to be played before the original date of the fixture (the match does not have to be played before the original date; just a new date for the fixture set before the original date). That agreed new date can only be cancelled or changed by the party that was originally asked to change the date. ie if you ask for a re-arrangement and agree a new date, you can't cancel again (unless exceptional circumstances). BOTH managers put all this in writing/email to the Regional Director before the original fixture date. Failure to fullfil a fixture, or notify of a rearrangement, is penalised by a 14-0 loss and a 3 point penalty. Obviously in some extreme situations this isn't applied. However, already this season there has been some confusion on rearrangement details between parties. From this point on if the system above is not used then arbitration of disputes is impossible and both teams will be awarded 14-0 losses.
Dress Code
The following is from the EBPF constitution.
1. All players at all County Matches must wear full County Uniform:
- Black trousers (or skirt) (strictly no jeans)
- Black shoes (strictly no trainers)
- Collared County Shirt (if unavailable players must wear a collared shirt)
2. All frames played by any players who are not wearing full County Uniform at a County Match will be forfeit. However, frames cannot be claimed after they have been finished. If a captain/manager spots a player playing out of county kit they can claim the frame but only whilst they are playing - not afterwards.
